hours and hours have been put into these things. the vandercook press! on a busy day at work there are 10 or so printers each using a press to craftfully print the junk mail of america's rich and famous.... i'm sounding so cynical. these old presses were used to proof the hand set lead type before hundreds of copies would be printed- at soho letterpress we print all jobs from start to finish on these babies....the final product is a hand mixed ink color pressed into the paper- a finished look that one can see and feel. the best of printed matter.
