the day started out sunny. friends in town from boston. my favorite french toast for breakfast and an endlessly full cup of coffee. big plans for a sunny day with no work; tour of the neighborhood, bike riding, getting lost in the chaos of manhattan.... alas, i started making some valentines and spent the day inside. the blue sky was washed away with grey, the wind picked up and then the snow came. it's now entirely freezing outside, dark and my room is a mess! happy valentine's four days early!
